8:14 And by the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth ¹  was dry.

Kejadian 44:3

44:3 When morning came, ²  the men and their donkeys were sent off. ³ 

[8:14]  ¹ tn In v. 13 the ground (הָאֲדָמָה, ha’adamah) is dry; now the earth (הָאָרֶץ, ha’arets) is dry.

[44:3]  ² tn Heb “the morning was light.”

[44:3]  ³ tn Heb “and the men were sent off, they and their donkeys.” This clause, like the preceding one, has the subject before the verb, indicating synchronic action.
